Sun is glowing
In the spirit of spring and all things youthful and vigorous, we put the spotlight on play and creativity this month. Research is bubbling into the corporate domain that says that PLAY fosters innovation and creative solutions.
PLAY actually develops the brain and makes a learning experience more memorable and accessible…not just on a playground, but in the board room, and between clients and sales teams.

It's more than a bouncing ball or giggle fit. Play is a state of inquiry and exploration. It is trying out the new. It is releasing enough of what you think you know to be inspired by what you don't. That leads inevitably to growth.

Work is flowing
In recent years, creative agencies have served as terrific instigators for play in the Perata Consulting portfolio. Developing leadership savvy in these work cultures, known for their innovation and inspiration, has become a PCL specialty that offers wellsprings of new approaches in all other business environs. If you're stuck, play. Move differently than you previously have. Let your mind wander, go to the museum, juggle. Whether in a creative position or not, play has the ability to reach in and make old solutions new.
